About Us
My name is Cherie Cope, and I established Supplies for GI's after my daughter April's husband, a Marine, was deployed to Iraq. After a few months into his tour, he contacted April and asked if she could try to find some sponsors for Marines in Iraq. He stated that just a little gift from home would really raise a soldiers morale. Some of these Marines had never even received a letter yet from loved ones.
After hearing this, April, my niece and myself decided that we would try to make a difference to let these GI's know that we love them and appreciate them. I started telling this story to everyone, including:

- American Legions
- Social groups
- many, many more,,,
Due to our dedication, we now are able to send hundreds of packages twice a year to the GI's in Iraq, Afghanistan, and elsewhere. We need to let our GI's know that we care about them.
