The EAA Chapter 104 of Valparaiso, IN Cherie Cope 7 years ago, to provide a little token of appreciation to our men and women in uniform all around the world. While we all want our GI's to come home safely, our GI's need more than just that notion. We support our troops by sending them care packages once at year at Christmas time.
This year, we will be gathering supplies and goods and we will meet at the airport in Valparaiso, IN at the Porter County Municipal Airport on Sunday, November 20, 2011. You can add your soldier’s names and addresses right here on the website and we will send the packages to them. We have received wish lists from GI's and we would like to collect as many items on the list as possible. We know how important it is to receive a package, and we are hoping to send out at least 400 boxes. If you can help us with a monetary donation to assist with postage, or with items from the GI Wish List, our GI’s will receive their packages by Christmas.
Product donations MUST be received by Friday, November 18, 2011. We will be assembling these packages for the soldiers at Hangar C9 at the airport on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at 1:00 PM.
Please we need your help each box costs us $12.50 to ship and we want to get a box to every soldier on the list.
